Feline Holidays Global Engagement

Formerly known as the Vacasol Global Engagement Scholarship and Vacasol Jugendförderung, we continue our social commitment under the name of Feline Holidays. We look forward to continuing to award a total of 20,000 euros to nonprofit projects for children and young people, as well as to open-minded and dedicated students.

The Scholarship

Feline Holidays Global Engagement Scholarship is awarded by Feline Holidays A/S as a partial scholarship. Europe is our business – to support cosmopolitan and committed people, we have launched the Feline Holidays Global Engagement Scholarship. We would like to recognize intercultural cooperation, interest in encountering other nations and cultures, as well as extraordinary social commitment.

Funding Priorities

Support for Studies Abroad and Social Commitment

Encountering people from other nations and cultures is of great importance to Feline Holidays A/S and our support for stays abroad – semesters, internships, and other study-related projects abroad. This is one of two main priorities for the selection of candidates.

Feline Holidays A/S also promotes social commitment by people who perform charitable activities to the benefit of society. Social Commitment – when applicants are involved in social activities outside of their studies or training, or do voluntary work – is the second funding priority and shall be rewarded with the Feline Holidays Global Engagement Scholarship.

Type of Funding

Once a year we will grant ten scholarships each worth 1.000 euros.

Our Partner Universities

We are very pleased to announce that starting in 2025, we have established partnerships with selected universities to exclusively support students enrolled at one of these institutions.

- IST University of Applied Sciences

ISM International School of Management

The ISM International School of Management is a private university founded in 1990. It offers business-related Bachelor's and Master's programs, which are accredited by FIBAA and AACSB. With campuses in several German cities, the university places a strong emphasis on internationality and practical relevance.

A semester abroad is mandatory for ISM Bachelor's and Master's students. We are delighted to collaborate and provide support to selected ISM students.

IST University of Applied Sciences

The IST University of Applied Sciences is a private, state-accredited institution located in Düsseldorf. It specializes in industry-focused distance learning programs across various fields, including sports, fitness, health, tourism, hospitality, events, media, and business. Established in 2013, the university is committed to delivering practice-oriented and flexible study models designed to meet the unique needs of its students.

Each year, around 30 students from the IST University of Applied Sciences embark on international journeys to enrich their education through a semester abroad. We are delighted to partner with this university and happy to support selected students from the IST University of Applied Sciences.

Application

Applications can only be submitted via e-mail. Students from partner universities will receive the link to the application form and additional information about the Feline Holidays Global Engagement Scholarship through the International Office of their respective university. The completed form, along with all required personal documents, must be sent to scholarship@feline-holidays.de.
